Unwrapping it and Giving it to Your Employees: Accountability

Accountability

Accountable people are passionate people.  They value their efforts and time.  They are ready for challenges.  They want someone to keep score.  They expect to be rewarded for performance.  They like the game of work. They enjoy standards to meet, objectives to adhere to.  They like realistic expectations that drive them. They enjoy and appreciate special projects and clearly defined boundaries.  Accountable people like to serve. They work with teams. They understand demands and deadlines. They are focussed on the end result.  They are submissive to authority.  They are humble and are constantly redefining better ways to explore greater return on time, money, and energy.  They speak and accountability language.  They bring results daily, weekly, and monthly.  They are self-evaluators.  They build, grow, and develop. They are your team, accountable to the core.
